The Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm scope of work includes the design, coordination, supervision, testing, commissioning, approval, and handover of complete and fully operational Fire & Life Safety systems, in full compliance with the UAE Fire & Life Safety Code of Practice, applicable NFPA standards, and UAE Civil Defense regulations.
All installation, testing, commissioning, and authority approval works shall be executed in close cooperation with UAE Civil Defense–approved and licensed specialist contractors, in accordance with local regulations. The overall system design intent, coordination, integration, compliance, and final handover shall remain under our responsibility.
• Verification and optimization of the Design of fire fighting systems, including:
o Automatic sprinkler systems
o Fire hose reel systems
o Internal and external fire hydrant systems
o Wet riser and standpipe systems
• Hydraulic calculations and fire water demand analysis.
• Verification and optimization of the Design of fire water storage and pumping systems, including:
o Fire water storage tanks
o Fire pump sets (duty, standby, and jockey) complete with controllers
• Verification and optimization of the Design of addressable fire alarm systems, including:
o Fire alarm control panels and network architecture
o Smoke, heat, beam, flame, and multi-sensor detectors
o Manual call points, alarm sounders, and sounder beacons
o Voice evacuation and PA system interfaces
• Verification and optimization of the Design of special fire suppression systems, including:
o Clean agent systems (FM-200 / NOVEC 1230)
o CO₂ systems
o Kitchen hood fire suppression systems
o Foam systems
• Preparation of Cause & Effect matrix and system integration philosophy.
• Preparation of detailed drawings, schematics, layouts, and hydraulic calculations for Civil Defense approval.
• Coordination with architectural, structural, HVAC, electrical, ELV, and elevator systems.
• Compliance with NFPA and UAE Civil Defense regulations.
• Value engineering to optimize system performance and compliance without compromising life safety.
Supply of fire fighting system components including:
• Fire pumps with controllers and accessories.
• Fire water storage tanks.
• Sprinkler heads (standard, concealed, upright, pendant, sidewall).
• Fire hose reels, cabinets, and accessories.
• Hydrants, landing valves, and hose boxes.
• Control valves, alarm valves, flow switches, and test & drain assemblies.
• Supply of piping systems including Pipes, Fittings, Supports, hangers, gauges, and monitoring devices…etc.
• Supervision of Installation of all Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm systems which shall be carried out by UAE Civil Defense–approved and licensed specialist contractors, in accordance with approved Civil Defense drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• All installation works shall be executed under our technical supervision and coordination to ensure compliance with design intent and system integration.
• Testing and commissioning activities shall be performed in cooperation with Civil Defense–approved contractors, under our supervision and coordination.
• Full commissioning and Civil Defense approval shall be executed jointly with UAE Civil Defense–approved contractors, with responsibility for coordination, compliance, and closure of comments remaining under our scope.
• Documentation, training, and final handover shall be coordinated and compiled under our responsibility, including all Civil Defense approval documents and completion certificates.
